RIVETING! I am not a kindle reader and was going to wait for the printed edition but couldn't. After reading the preface and Daddy I couldn't stop. I cried as Nani drew me in to her experiences; I read her words and felt her heart; The pain, the anguish, the defeat... I couldn't stop there, I needed to get to the end. I needed to make sure she was ok. Only to find the end was just the beginning. This is a story of love. A story of forgiveness, resilience and hope. A life of a woman who defied all odds and survived.This is a must read for anyone wanting to give up and give in to the voice that haunts our insecurities and fears.

This is an amazing book to read about a womens struggles from childhood thru adulthood. How she has over come those struggles eye opening. I couldn't put it down. I read it on and then I had to buy the book in print. I plan to buy a lot more for gifts. I highly recommend this book for everyone.
Amazing Godly story of a rawness, exposure, trust, spiritual growth, obedience and serving our God. Very inspiring. I love that the author chose to write as though she was speaking to her father. As each of the events lead up to her God story. Showing that He always has a plan, we may not like it or even agree with it but it's His plan. I finished this book in just 3 days, as I could not put it down. Highly recommend, very inspirational. Thank you to the author for sharing such intimate details of your Godly story.
Witness is an amazing story that shows God's amazing love for us. As people have mentioned, it is a tough read, but it was important to show the depravity and poverty Nani experienced and her deepest struggles, in order for her to show God's goodness and to inspire hope for people in the toughest of situations. Many people haven't experienced true freedom in Christ because they don't understand it. Nani's courage and willingness to got great depths into sharing her heart shows the victory and freedom available to us when we walk in faith. I know this book will be far-reaching and will inspire hope beyond measure. It has done so for me.
Once you start reading you can't put it down. It's an amazing journey of a child to a woman. It's a story written with raw truth, honesty, hope, grace and forgiveness. Easy read you will love it. It makes you realize there is HOPE for everyone no matter your past or your present!
A powerfully written story from childhood to adulthood, Nani shares the pain and heartbreak from her life and how Jesus used it to set her free to a life filled with love, restoration, servanthood and family. What a wonderful tribute to our Lord and Savior and the power of the Holy Spirit. Our God is the ONE True God, the Mighty Counselor, and the Ultimate Healer!
The author does a great job detailing the history and root causes of her struggles and how she overcomes them through faith, love, time and understanding. I recommend this book to the entire human race. We may not have all experienced such severe trauma, but are still affected by the actions of family, friends or colleagues who struggle with the long term effects of trauma. I find the authors accounts very insightful and hopeful for those affected by addiction, or suffering PTSD. This book should be read by professionals and volunteers who work with victims of physical abuse, sexual abuse,substance abuse, and addiction. The story was very interesting, engrossing, and educational.
From the minute I read the first sentence, I was captivated by Nani's story. Through my tears, I turned page after page, unable to stop. The manner in which she tells her story, by writing to her father, makes her story so REAL, her emotions so raw, it really drove home how deeply devastating her experiences were. The amount of pain and abuse that Nani experienced is indescribable, but through Him, she has found unconditional love for herself, for Him, for her husband, children and family. Nani is such an amazing woman.....I don't think I have ever known someone as strong and resilient as she.
